Update on Graduation Dates

High School Graduation signifies the conclusion of a student’s Compulsory Education and is monumental in the life of a student and their families. Recognizing this the South Monterey County JUHSD, is working very hard to make that event happen.

Free internet for 60 days from Spectrum

Charter will offer free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription and at any service level up to 100 Mbps. To enroll call 1-844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.

School Meal Access

Meals will be served from 8:30-11:30am Monday-Friday at Greenfield and King City High Schools free of charge to all children 18 and under. Meals can be picked up at the snack bars in both locations which will help minimize contact. Meals will include both breakfast & lunch and are to be consumed off-site.

Disclosure of Student Information and Records

The California Department of Education (“CDE”) is currently engaged in litigation with two non-profit associations comprised of parents and guardians of children with disabilities. The plaintiffs in that litigation have requested numerous documents, as well as student data collected and stored by CDE, which may include personally identifiable student information. This litigation impacts all school districts across the state, including South Monterey County Joint Union High School District.
